I am announcing the peaceful passing of my beloved cousin, Professor Frank
Farzin Marvasti on the night of August 14, 2019.
I am sharing following information for the Internet record keeping, his former
students and friends:
Prof. Frank Farzin Marvasti Funeral was held on Thursday August 22, 2019 at 3
pm . Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary, 520 E Washington St, Colton, CA
Prof Frank Farzin Marvasti Memorial / Celebration of His Life and Legacy was
on Saturday August 24, 2019 at 5 pm in Hilltop Banquet Center, San
Bernardino 670 N Kendall Dr, San Bernardino, CA 92407
Prof. Frank Farzin Marvasti will be always in our memories as a descent, kind,
honest, down to earth, and devoted family man with a beautiful heart, brilliant
mind, and ocean of knowledge. We will always remember many Joyous memories
that we were privileged to have with Dr. Frank Farzin Marvasti. He will be truly

Full Professor at Cal Poly Pomona, International Business and Marketing
Redlands School of Business Chairman , University of Redlands,
Associate Professor at Aryamehr University of Technology (Iran’s MIT) for few
B.S., Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), 1971;
M.S., Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI),, 1973;
Ph.D., Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), 1979.
